At A&P Crane Solutions, we offer spider crane services for jobs that require a compact and highly maneuverable crane that can get into spaces a standard mobile crane simply cannot reach. Spider cranes get their name from the outrigger legs that extend out to stabilize the machine during a lift, and their small footprint makes them ideal for working inside buildings, on rooftops, in narrow alleys, and on sites with very limited access. They are commonly used for glass and curtain wall installations, interior lifts, rooftop equipment placements, basement work, and any project where space is tight but the load still needs to be handled with precision. Despite their compact size spider cranes are capable machines and ours can reach up to 47 feet of main boom which gives you a solid working range for most tight access jobs. Our operators are familiar with the unique demands of spider crane work and know how to set up and operate the machine safely in confined environments where there is little room for error. Every spider crane job we take on gets the same level of attention and care regardless of how big or small the lift is. The rate for spider crane service is $225 per hour with a four hour minimum covering two hours on site and two hours for travel. Additional hours are charged at the same rate.
